Verryn is an average-looking Thalassian woman, small and underfed in stature, with potential at prettiness, were it not for the brittle, sick pallor to her skin. She sports a muted presence appropriate for someone within the clergy: a permanently quiet voice, simple, inexpensive clothing, a steady, silent gait – almost ghostlike.

The records offer the following: born year 581 of the King’s calendar
as the second daughter to the declining House Velanis, Verryn was tutored at home and never introduced to Silvermoon society. The sudden death of Lord Pyaro Velanis in 598 was the final catalyst in his House’s spiral toward oblivion. While survived by his eldest, Lady Reiane of the Royal Guard, the sheltered Lady Verryn of 17 summers, and his feeble Lady wife, Pyaro’s House nevertheless fell for good in the following year when Lady Reiane was lost to the ravages of the Second War, and Lady Ireth set fire to the townhouse. The family’s country estate had been sold off two generations since; as far as the records are concerned, nothing remains of the ill-fated family, fallen far from their bygone days as pearls of ancient Suramar.
The censuses of Light’s Hope c. 599-626 nevertheless mention a Thalassian ghost of a girl by the name Verryn serving in the Chapel as acolyte and priestess.
The years since remain undocumented; independent research & experimentation into shadow and related magical theory in Dalaran and Stormwind; brief stint exploring the cults of Azeroth which she finds not to her tastes. In some circles, she is known for her current tenure as a research assistant in Vasaar Duskfield’s Starfallen. In others, she is the studious, crowd-shy life partner of Blood Knight Sindaes Felo’zaram.
